Selling Digital Goods - Webmoney Just Does It Better!

(DigitalMoneyWorld.com) Selling online can be a scary thing for most people. Credits card processing, banner marketing, spam, scams and it never seems to stop…..if you are new to this type of market it can seem overwhelming. This is especially true if you are selling a digital product such as an ebook or a download that is electronically delivered. There are many web sites that will help you along the way with domain set ups, methods of payment, customers, sales tips and instructions for delivery of digi-goods.
Of course you can always go to larger operator such as Amazon or eBay and try to get your business up and running. However, both of these options, and others larger corporations, will automatically reject certain sellers because of their products, location, method of payment, lack of credit card payments or verification of the seller’s identity. I took a look around the web and found a few operators allowing digital download sales and found some good ones.
e-junkie seemed good.
“E-junkie provides shopping cart and buy now buttons to let you sell downloads and tangible goods on your website, eBay, MySpace, Google Base, CraigsList and other websites using PayPal, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net, TrialPay, 2CheckOut and ClickBank. For merchants selling downloads, we automate and secure the digital delivery of files and codes. You can sell ebooks, sell mp3 tracks and albums, sell software, icons, fonts, artwork, phone cards, event tickets, cds, posters, books, t-shirts and almost everything else you want to sell. E-junkie has no transaction limit, no bandwidth limit, no setup fee and no transaction fee.”
Zipidee was also very cool.
“Zipidee was created to empower PGC (Prosumer Generated Content) digi-good owners…to generate revenue from their assets with a turnkey platform. Zipidee is the online marketplace for all digital media: video, music, eBooks, ringtones, wallpaper, and more. The platform is self-serve, so you can get your goods to market in minutes.”
PayLoadz I liked.
“We provide a service to sell download able items such as:
Software, eBooks, music, movies, digital art, manuals, articles, certificates, forms, files, and anything else that can be downloaded. Our automated service delivers your products to your customers instantly after payment. Our system operates using PayPal’s online payment system and Google Checkout.”
All of these are really great services, but one big problem for me existed. All of these helpful webs, including Amazon and eBay, accepted or allow sales using my favorite digital currencies such as Webmoney, Pecunix, e-gold, e-bullion or Liberty Reserve.
