The bailout is a no-go.
The outcome of the decision to bail out financial institutions was announced yesterday with a marginal vote of 228-205. With such a slim shot at the bailout being a go, Nancy Pelosi was credited with having swayed on-the-fencers in chaning their minds towards a no-go. Wow.

Here I am, sitting in the car dealership’s office working (happily) along while my car is being serviced. I almost walked out of the house this morning without my laptop. I didn’t think I’d be away from my (home) office that long and I could do some work when I got back home. I’m glad I re-thought that idea and grabbed all of my work stuff before I left home.
