Can’t find a paperclip? You’re in good company. Or at least lots of it. The voice in this video is not so good, but the concept cracked me up.

I had some amusing economics professors in school, but their humor usually wasn’t intentional. This guy has to be the world’s first stand-up economist. If you don’t get his jokes, don’t worry. It just means you’re not an econ nerd. Not that there’s anything wrong with that….
This video was filmed at the first ever humor session of the meeting of the American Economics Association earlier this year.

This is great British humor. I only wonder why the ditzy woman sounds American? Beware of where you leave your phone!
Beyond the Book

Just Make Money Online points to a podcast where Jason Van Orden tells how he makes $70,000 a year with his podcasts and blogs. So I ran up freerice.com
It’s excellent, if not earth shaking marketing advice. But it got me thinking…
In today’s market there’s a whole lot more you can do with the content of a book than just write a book! Obvious? Sort of, but for me, at least, I tend to forget about things like podcasts and online video… mostly because I don’t use them much. But lots of people do, and I’m not meeting those people where they are when it comes to my marketing.
That’s slowly beginning to change. I’ve even written an article called Thinking Beyond the Book.
