Alright so check it out, here are my favorite movies that have to do with business or entrepreneurship. I think these are some great movies to motivate and pump up young entrepreneurs.
5. Office Space – this was a hilarious movie that pretty much makes fun of Corporate American. It’s about some friends that are just completely fed up with their jobs.
Thinking about leaving your job, you might or might not want to watch this. Pick it up for a good laugh!
4. The Godfather 2 – this not only is one of the best movies for a young entrepreneur but is …read more

It’s tax season and you are stressed out. You are paying off debt, haven’t gotten a bonus in 2 years, still have to rush to do your taxes, run a business, work with clients, feed yourself, feed your kids, feed your friends (ONLY if they pay you back!), feed your clients (they get hungry, too!) and then clean up… oh, and walk uphill in the snow to/from work. It’s coming to a point in the year where things are either winding down or kicking off – let’s face it, you’re probably on the verge of …read more

Continuing with my 2-day Top # post marathon – this is the top fatal assumptions for online startups.
The internet is easy. It just sits there waiting for you to use it. When you don’t want to browse or do work, it says hey, that’s cool with me, I’ll just chill here for a while. The internet is also the cheapest piece of property one could ever purchase. If the internet was a world, I would have maybe two acres – but I could build a very vertical house with that piece of land. Before I go on about the jungles, …read more

5. Run folding to reduce your heating bill. Folding uses your CPU to help fold proteins. So keep your CPU and workspace nice and warm (no, it doesn’t hurt the CPU) and feel good about doing it.
4. Use the phone as much as possible. Gas prices are high, so why drive 45 minutes when you can simply teleconference?
3. Use fast computers (no, not to be able to run World of Warcraft). If they aren’t up-to-date, you will be wasting more time than you have. How many times have you wanted to smash slow computers for taking …read more

I’m not posting today’s normal Sunday BossHatch Times to throw in something I have been meaning to post. I was recently sent a link to a list of 100 attributes of entrepreneurs. Normally, I would just skim over a list like this, read it, and post a comment. However, this has 100 attributes… jeeze! I didn’t know entrepreneurial attributes could be THAT dynamic. Let’s break this down a bit and pull out some of my favorites:
3. Get comfortable asking for advice and help. Although there are plenty of people who have created successful businesses on their own, …read more

I don’t like introductions to lists because the title is supposed to be descriptive… so let’s get to it:
20. You want to stick it to “the man”… or woman. You want to show your boss “HA! See this? Yeah, well now the rims on my car cost more than your entire net worth!”
19. To get away from the people who actually care whether or not I put “… or woman” after saying “the man.” There is always that person in your office that you have to totally avoid saying jokes to – as an …read more
