While the global economy is still in the recovery process, Timberland isn’t being bashful about their new marketing campaign. In fact, the maker of premium-quality footwear is launching one of the most innovative marketing campaigns of 2009.
To connect with young consumers who live in the city, Timberland is going all out. Including in their marketing campaign are iPhone applications, iPhone games, branded Hulu videos, interactive billboards, customized radio stations on Pandora and reverse sidewalk graffiti. Timberland Decides to Stay Put

Timberland, the maker of outdoor wear, has decided to stay put in Stratham, New Hampshire. Since the beginning of 2008, Timberland was searching for a new home. When all was said and done, the company decided to stay. This news was first reported by Foster’s Daily Democrat.
One of the places that was the city of Portsmouth. However, Timberland will stay and work with their current building and try to update their facilities. The company has been located in Stratham for about 15 years.

BICEP Adds Three New Members

The Business Coalition for Innovative Climate and Energy Policy (BICEP) announced today that three new members would be joining this organization, which was started four months ago by Ceres. Joining founding companies Timberland, Nike, Sun Microsystems, Starbucks, and Levi Strauss are Gap, eBay, and Symantec.
The new members were introduced at a business breakfast and policy forum, hosted by Ceres at the Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C. The group hopes that by joining forces, they’ll have a louder voice in calling for strong U.S. climate and energy policies over the next year. Consumer Reports ‘Shop Smart’ Picks Top Companies for Social, Environment

Consumer Reports Shopsmart released its top picks for companies that are making employees, charities and the environment top priorities. I have to say that I’m a fan of many companies that made it to the list.
Shopsmart has picked Ben & Jerry’s, yum, for the company’s continuing support of local community projects and manufacturing methods which focus on reducing waste and carbon dioxide.
