Writing Clients – Keeping Your Sanity

My favorite writing client is the person who knows what they want written. I mean they know specifically both what they want to accomplish and how they want it done. If it’s a ghostwriting client, that means they know why they want to write a book, what they want the book to say, and maybe, at least in a general way, how they want that said. Does any of this sound familiar to you?
You schedule phone meeting with a client that’s to last at least an hour.
You make sure nothing interferes, including putting off at least one other client.
The appointment is confirmed the day before.
The hour arrives and there’s no phone call.

I’m Not As Flexible As I Like To Think I Am!

If you asked me, I’d probably tell you I’m a flexible person… which would be true, except when it comes to my morning routine!
It actually started last night when I successfully trapped one of the three feral cats we have here with the goal of taking him to the vet for neutering. The Goat Dance of Life

There was a time when I had a full time job, raised three kids and got an occasional bit of writing done… I don’t know how I did it. Seriously.
The major item on my to do list today was to work on the book or ebook that will go with the teleclass about getting your book written. I can’t move forward with the class until that ebook is, if not done, at least close to done. So I opened the file.
