The Mystery of Blog Feeds

Okay, so I’ve been a paid blogger for a couple of years now. And yes, I’ve given advice to writers about how to get blog jobs. Which doesn’t mean I’m an expert – not by a long shot.
For example, it’s only recently that I’ve understood how I can use RSS feeds to make my life easier. The light dawned when reading an interview Mark Silver had with Dawud Miricle. There Dawud explained that be setting up a feed reader I could run through a bunch of blog headlines from all sorts of blogs I’d chosen and decide which ones I wanted to leave comments on and which ones I wanted to comment on in my own blog.
So I downloaded FeedReader – it’s free – and stated plugging in blogs I like. I’ll be darned! There are the headlines and it’s almost a snap to decide what I want to use and what I want to ignore.
How do you figure out which blogs to read and comment on? Tell us about it.
Write well and often,
