Apple’s Results Shatter Expectations

Spurred on by record sales of its iPhone and Mac products, Apple Inc. has posted a quarterly revenue and profit result that has managed to soundly surpasses the average analyst’s estimates. Following Apple’s stunning results, the company’s shares gained 7.5 percent to end at around $204 in extended trading, reflecting renewed investor confidence in the technology industry as of late.

When using a computer for your business or home, which do you prefer, a Mac or PC? Do you know why you prefer either one? Having noted that laptops are increasingly becoming dumb terminals, I’ll now present to you an argument that I will be presenting to my wife and business partner shortly. First, a caveat – I’m an Apple head, and have been Jones-ing inexplicably for a MacBook Air since they came out. Now I think I have my excuse.
