The way we think determines our thoughts, and our thoughts determine the language we use. Pay attention to how your friends and colleagues talk. You will find that many speak a language of exclusion, a language about “what is not,” instead of “what is,” or “what can be.”

Unwords

What’s an unword? It’s an opportunity to: Make up words for those hard to express things and ideas in your head. It’s happening at Unwords.com.
The site, which is a wonderful time sink, allows you to look up words, and to submit your own. I think it’s a great reflection of how language can change and it would be great if they were able to track when an unword becomes “real” by going into a dictionary or two.
