Continuing my usual cheerleading for Web 2.0 in Canada, here are some good links highlighting folks who have been on panels recently (SXSWi, Convergence Integration) and just have some good news to share.

Looking forward to the Building Developer-Friendly Web Service APIs panel at SXSW

Morning from SXSW.  I’ll have my travel and early morning pics up soon, but we’re all here at the b5media ranch hanging out waiting for Aaron and Mark to arrive.  I haven’t even begun to think about what sessions I’m going to, well besides a couple that hit my attention.

Congrats to Kris Krug! He’s in NatGeo baby!

You know that I am a huge fan of Kris Krug’s work.  I don’t think he’s taken a bad pic of me yet.  As I was skimming my feeds I saw this little baby:

Yep, that’s a pic by Vangroovy’s own Kris Krug there on the NatGeo website.  Some of us have to use the online fakery ones to live our NatGeo dreams (one day, one day) … but Kris gets to actually live it!
Congrats man.  Certainly an accolade long overdue.
