Babylune’s Group Writing Project got me thinking… I do have three adult children and four grandkids… how could I have thought I’d escape the present buying frenzy? Well, I won’t, but I will modify it. At least a bit.
For the three older grandkids, I’ll by ‘em each a book… and maybe a chewable book for the youngest if I can find one that wasn’t made in China. With luck I can do this online easily.

Okay, so it’s only the last half of October. But if you’re a freelance writer or editor in the United States, you’re already seeing TV ads urging you to buy this gift or that gift for your family and friends.
I’m not playing this year. Oh, I’ll get a token for everyone so there are packages from me under the tree. But the bulk of my Christmas gift money is going to Heifer International.
