Can’t find a paperclip? You’re in good company. Or at least lots of it. The voice in this video is not so good, but the concept cracked me up.

Dry British Banker Humor

This is dry British humor at its best. Think The Office but darker, drier, and funnier! (Of course you know The Office originated on the other side of the pond.)
Enjoy!

The World’s First Stand Up Economist

I had some amusing economics professors in school, but their humor usually wasn’t intentional. This guy has to be the world’s first stand-up economist. If you don’t get his jokes, don’t worry. It just means you’re not an econ nerd. Not that there’s anything wrong with that….
This video was filmed at the first ever humor session of the meeting of the American Economics Association earlier this year.

Fed Humor: Columbia Dean Watched Bernake

In this hilarious video, Columbia Business School Dean R. Glenn Hubbard vies for the top Federal Reserve Bank job that went to Ben Bernake. I’m calling for a revival of this 2006 classic. The acting is great, but I have to say – if this guy’s really the one singing, he’s got a whole other talent to exploit. Maybe he ought to call Sting!

Banker Humor: Baby Got WACC

Baby got WACC - or Weighted Average Cost of Capital as it’s known on Wall Street (and Columbia Business School where this was performed a few years ago). As a total spreadsheet geek and a big fan of Sir Mix-a-Lot, I couldn’t get enough of this video! I’m thinking of creating companion glossary. What do you think?
