On August 23rd the total number of registrations in the WebMoney system passed the 4 million mark!
Starting back in 2004, new registrations in the WM System have added at least one million each year. Annual totals on customer financial transactions during this same period have been doubling annually as well.
In 2006 the total of all customer transactions was equivalent to $1.46 Billion USD. In August alone, the monthly total transactions are now over 185 million USD. The transparent Webmoney system statistics are always available for viewing on their web site in real time.
Webmoney Transfer has also recently launched its own digital gold currency purse. These new digital units are backed by gold bullion reserves. WMG or Webmoney Gold is a lively market and growing each day.
This bullion backed money is now in direct competition with other DGC industry regulars such as Pecunix, e-Bullion and e-gold.
Webmoney offers a unique software client for all account holders with built in added features such as secure messaging and Internet phone. The WM client interface - WM Keeper Classic has also been recently updated. The new Keeper software, version 3.5.0.2 is now available for download.
WM Keeper Mobile - a new GSM keeper version for smart-phones, PDAs and portable mobile devices has been updated also and now allows a full access to WM purses from the mobile device.
New E-gold Blog & Radio Interview

The e-gold web site has finally added a blog and with this humble sentence a new era in communication has just begun….
“Hi, I’m Douglas Jackson and this is the first entry of the e-gold blog.”
Most readers will know what I am talking about because over the last decade getting casual comments out of the e-gold organization has been darn near impossible. Perhaps this silence was for a good reason. This blog is truly a new and warm addition to the community. Its a well needed social add-on and I urge all readers to visit and comment.
The inevitable question I have….is it too little too late? I hope not. You can grab the feed here.
One of the first entries is a Q & A radio interview Dr. Jackson recently recorded. Its very good. If you have a few minutes, its well worth the time.
