Dear Anne,
I’m a regular reader of your newsletter and always look inside the job postings list. I would like to find a writing job I can do from home one day but it is proving to be rather difficult.
One thing is that some jobs are for US based people only. Another obstacle is that they sometimes want someone with a long experience in a special field. Hmmm.. it’s not going well so far.

Write-From-Home.com, a finalist in Writing White Papers 10 Top Blogs for Writers, has a short but important post about the best way to apply for a freelance writing gig.
To her tip about thinking like an employer, I’d add order your resume or credits so the most applicable is on top. It’s so easy to have several resumes, each tailored in a particular direction or specialty, it seems a shame not to do it.
