Is there a licensing requirement for selling electronic media such as ebooks on the web? I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer and I thought I’d go to someone who is actively engaged in it. Thanks, RDH
Dear RDH, If you’ve written the ebook, you’re free to publish it or sell it in any legitimate way you’d like. I use Clickbank to sell my ebooks. You own the copyright on anything you write, including ebooks.
If you want to sell ebooks written by others you’ll need permission from them or to join their affiliate program or make some other arrangement. …read more
