I’ve been a registered member (free) of Poynter.org for years but I didn’t realize the offer free classes at some called News University. For example, you can take:
Cleaning Your Copy
Get Me Rewrite
The Writer’s Workbench: 50 Tools You Can Use
These are free (you do have to register at News University) and self-paced. Although aimed at journalists, I’m looking forward to working through some of these.
