Many people travel for the holidays. If you plan to do any travel for Thanksgiving or in December, now is the time to book your travel. While you are unlikely to score a really great deal for Thanksgiving (this is the most popular time of the year to travel, so the airlines are pretty unforgiving), you can still find reasonable fares for December. Just try to stay out of the immediate vicinity of Christmas and New Year’s.

The holidays are coming, probably faster than you want them to. There are very few retail or wholesale small businesses that are not affected by the end of year holiday rush, either directly or indirectly.

Ok, I Will Play, But Differently

In October I said I wasn’t going to play Christmas at all… or something like that. Who was I kidding? Me apparently ;)
Babylune’s Group Writing Project got me thinking… I do have three adult children and four grandkids… how could I have thought I’d escape the present buying frenzy? Well, I won’t, but I will modify it. At least a bit.
For the three older grandkids, I’ll by ‘em each a book… and maybe a chewable book for the youngest if I can find one that wasn’t made in China. With luck I can do this online easily.
