After all, the lady is chairman and CEO of Carlson, which encompasses Radisson and Regent hotels and resorts, Park Plaza hotels, T.G.I. Friday’s restaurants, and a host of other household names. She’s also on the Boards of ExonMobile and the Mayo Clinic Foundation, among others.
In short, Nelson is a leader.

Mixed Reviews About Home Business Magazine

I’ve been reading Home Business Magazine for close to a year, and I’ve even been quoted in a cover story, but I can’t help but feel disappointed every time an issue arrives in my mailbox. The thing is, some of the articles are flat-out fantastic. They really, really are. But others, like the cover story in the current issue, are just uber-sketch.

Are April Fool’s Day Pranks Appropriate in a Professional Environment?

I won’t leave you in suspense on this one: My response is an adamant "No." As far as I’m concerned, pranks in the office are just as inappropriate as wearing a costume in the office on Halloween. You’re at work. Behave like an adult.
