Political Chat At Interview Chatter - Fair Play

This morning on my way to work I was listening to a local Christian radio station, WRBS. They were playing a game with one of their listeners, “Beat the Microwave”. The game is played by giving the listener a topic and they have 10 seconds to come you with 5 things on topic. In this case, this morning, the caller eeked out 4 items and then the buzzer rang as he spoke the 5th one out of his mouth. He lost according to my judgment. Tracey, Mike and Dave (Jeff), came up with a creative solution to allow the caller to win. That got me thinking about this Democratic Presidential race.

Hillary Clinton is willing to come up with a creative way to win this Presidential nomination. And if that happens, who benefits? Will the win be perceived as fair? Or will she have to play dirty, to pull out this nomination? Again, who wins?

Based on my calculations there is no way for Hillary Clinton to win the Democratic Nomination with out someone getting really creative like my radio broadcasters did this morning. It’s one thing to give a listener a CD for participating in the “Beat the Microwave”. It’s an entirely different thing for the media, the Superdelegates, and anyone else who can influence the Democratic Party to do “new math” to decide the Presidential Nominee for the Democratic Party.

Tonight I am locked to my television watching the results of the North Carolina and Indiana Democratic Primary. The reason that it interests me so much is that I am absolutely convinced that if Hillary Clinton becomes the nominee, I want to see the “scratch paper”. I want to know how it will be sold to the American people and legitimately sold as a fair race.

Fair play is critical in my opinion. More to come… I would love to hear from you! Scroll down and leave a comment!
