Podcasting is a social media medium that I am passionate about and on The Engaging Brand podcast have been lucky enough to interview some of the best thinkers on marketing, social media and personal branding. Here are 10 shows that are well worth a listen
- New Rules of Marketing and PR
- Conversational Marketing
- Age of Engage
- Blogging within Microsoft
- Managing Your Online Reputation
- Creating Engaging Brand Experiences Online
- How Nokia Created Brand Awareness
- 10 Golden Rules of B2B Social Media Marketing Pt 1 and Pt 2
- Generating Buzz about your Brand
- Behavior behind growth in Social Networking Pt 1 and Pt 2
Podcasting for me has two benefits for me - one as a way of reaching out to a global audience of potential customers and secondly from a purely selfish point of view - it is wonderful devleopment for me and my thinking!

Using Social Networking for Charity
Just a short little note on something I found yesterday. I find interesting podcasts every once and awhile, which I will share. Please let me know if you listen to the podcasts I link to and let me know what you think, if nobody is going to them I won’t continue to post them.
PRWeek announced that they were going to air multiple weekly podcasts with The Dog’s Trust digital manager Jacqui Darlow about using social networking websites to get donations for charity.
Darlow created the charity’s own networking site Doggysnaps.com last year to gain donations for her organization. Some of the techniques she talks about could easily be applied to business.
In the podcast which you can find here (log in required) Darlow talks about some of the different techniques that she has employed.
