I thought I would introduce myself to all you buzz networkers as I am excited to say I am now going to be blogging all about social networking and how it can help your brand. Brand in the widest sense - both from a personal and corporate point of view. So who am I ?
Well, my name is Anna Farmery and I am based in the UK. I started my own business The Engaging Brand coming up three years ago, with the massive sum of £500 ($750). I cannot say it was a deliberate strategy to use social media as only marketing tool…it was built out of the necessity of no budget….but I have to say it has been wonderful for me. What can be better than marketing whilst making the a whole new set of friends online….brilliant.
So over the next weeks and months I want to share with you all how I have used social networking, my lessons learned(lots of them!), what I am working on now, latest trends, latest tools and of course tips on how social networking can help both the profitability of a company and also your personal career.

So, I’m about to crash so I can get up early tomorrow morning to go meet Gary Vaynerchuk, the host of Wine Library TV, and a man who made his family wine business flourish, partly through using Social Media.
So I’m wondering, if you had an hour, face to face with Gary, what would you ask him? Remember that this is a guy who is using some kick ass social media tools to promote his business, above and beyond what the traditional tactics are. What advice would you like to know about how to run your business better?
