Make a List, Check it Twice

Here are some suggestions for things to put on your networking to-do list for next week:

• Who haven’t you talked to in a while? Make a few calls to check in with people.
• Where are you going? Who can help you get there? Is there anyone you can call and ask out for coffee and advice?
• How does your Internet presence look? If people “Google” you, what comes up? Are your online social networks updated with your current information?
• How much time do you have to network this week? If you don’t have much time, make sure you know the people on your list that are “must talk” as opposed to “would like to catch up.” Priorities are important.
