Send the CBC’s Spark Story Ideas Through the Spark Wiki

I haven’t been following Twitter much today (darn that work thing), but I happened to catch a tweet from Ross Mayfield of Socialtext that the CBC is using SocialText Wiki technology to crowdsource radio programing.
The wiki can be found here-Spark Story Ideas / Spark Wiki (this is a link right to the story ideas page)-and the main Spark show page on the CBC site gives you an idea of what host Nora Young covers. Looking at the current story ideas, I see there are a couple social media-esque ones, but I could certainly suggest something about the whole public-private bit. Not just Facebook, the current whipping boy, but Twitter, photosharing, etc.
I’m thinking to myself that I need to submit some ideas. Or even just one good one.
Pretty good idea for a public broadcaster to ask listeners for story ideas. Speaking of which I need a guest or two for my first show on MapleLeafTwoRadio … I’m thinking Ben from Standout Jobs would be great, since he is presenting at DEMO later this month.
Now if Ben wimps out…who’d like to step up?

Tris: Dan from Spark here. Thanks so much for the mention. We’re pretty excited about the wiki, and learning about the different ways we can use it to collaborate.
Please, come contribute!
Tris — when is the first show?
You’re welcome Dan. I have some ideas and some extensions on what you already have there.
Well, when is good for you Ben? Tomorrow?
