Moms in the UK Are Given Cash Incentives to Start Their Own Businesses

What if someone offered to pay YOU to start your own business? That’s what the government is doing in the UK.

As encouragement and motivation, the government is offering cash incentives and free mentoring advice on how to write business plans and even how to pitch their business ideas to lenders. Having a child is the only prerequisite.

Turns out that the British are pretty impressed with our female entrepreneurs over here in the U.S.

” A Government source said: “We are doing well in Europe but our benchmark should be the US and if Britain had as many female entrepreneurs as the US we would be about level with the most enterprising nation in the world.”


Obviously, American business women, more specifically American female entrepreneurs, are viewed as trendsetters and leaders.

Adding moms to the equation just sweetens the deal all the more.

    That’s a remarkable program. Many times it’s just the “start up costs” that hold people back from starting their own business(es) - it’s a great idea.
