Michael Arrington: Mr. Zip.ca

The Michael Arrington/TechCrunch empire has its fingers in all kinds of places. It turns Silicon Valley’s man of the hour co-founded Zip.ca, the movie-rental service that is trying to emulate NetFlix’s success south of the border. This factoid appeared in a TechCrunch post yesterday in which discussed why he’s moving to Blockbuster from Nexflix. Arrington’s other connection to Canada is he worked for Ottawa-based Pool.com, which operated a domain name service.
Note: For more on Pool.com, which is a fascinating story, check out this story in Domain Name Journal.

You mean Pool.com rather than Splash.com, right? It’s a sister company to Zip.ca.
