Interview Chatter Blogoversary

purple-cupcake.jpgTomorrow is December 15th and I am celebrating one year as a blogger here at B5Media!! I can’t believe it has been a year. I had no idea what blogging was all about… But in the year since I began this journey, I have met some incredible people, learned some incredible skills, expanded my network across land barriers into other countries and in the process shared some valuable information.

This is your invitation to the party. For the remainder of this month I will be walking down memory lane. Sharing some of my new friends and offering some gifts to those of you who will stop by and share a compelling comment.

I will be serving cake and ice cream tomorrow, (virtually speaking), but you are invited to stop by for a slice.

Share your thoughts. How has Interview Chatter helped you? What do you like? What don’t you like? Have you been looking for an opportunity to give me a piece of your mind? I would love to hear all about it.

Let me end this post by thanking a few people who have made a tremendous difference in my life over the last year:

First and foremost, Doug Hanna. I wrote about him a couple of weeks ago. He deserves a big THANK YOU! He said yes to my idea - a blog writing about the hiring and interview process!!

Second, Jeremy, Shai, Christina, Aaron and the entire Support team. This is an amazing community of people. I count myself privileged to write for the B5 Community. These people lead the mass of bloggers, with creativity, freedom, fun and innovation.

Third, Darren Rowse at Problogger. I read his blog almost every day the first 3-4 months of this process - my process of learning and understanding the world of blogging! I am a trainer by trade and a learner forever. When I found his blog, it was like a goldmine. Every question I had, I fouund an answer for it on his site. I have had the privilege of helping a friend start a blog, and I heard a couple of days ago, someone else I know will be approaching me about beginning a blog. I share that just to say, I believe in passing it along, and helping someone else. Darren’s blog gives me a training manual to work from as I help others do what I enjoy doing!

I love blogging. My schedule has gotten busier over the last year, but I fight for my time to get my blog post up. I imagine, I will be doing this for years to come.

Please stop by as often as you can over the next few weeks. There will be some give-a-ways, some recommendations, and lots of link love to those I have met over the last year!

To my readers - THANK YOU for being faithful, reading, and sharing your thoughts! I look forward to new beginnings - in 2008!
