Google Canada Needs You!

It looks like Google Canada’s Wendy Muller has moved on judging by the “want ad” posted by Google for a Canadian country manager. Interested? If so, here’s what Google wants:
“Google is looking for a seasoned professional to lead Google’s sales and operations within Canada. The ideal candidate will have deep advertising sales experience, demonstrated general management capability, and a proven ability to build a team. The country manager is responsible for developing and executing on the overall market strategy within Canada. Responsibilities include determining the appropriate channel strategy, support model, staffing requirements, target advertisers, and coordinating with functional support to achieve desired goals. The primary focus will be on top tier client and agency opportunities, as well as developing a local team of incredible professionals.” You also need at least 12 years of advertising sales and general management experience, a proven track record of strategic development of Fortune 1000 client base, 5+ years of Internet sales, 5+ years of sales management experience, strong relationships with clients and agencies in the region, a BA and, preferrably, an MBA.
