Around every corner there is an overblown statement waiting to leap out and strangle your company’s announcement.

Bogus news release screen captureBut now, thanks to Wired Magazine, you don’t have to wait for stultifying language to come to you. Thanks to the Web 2.0 B.S. Generator, you can see a sample news release for a groovalicious startup, and bingo! With a bit of tweaking, that can be your announcement!.

Bullshitr logo - jargon generatorNeed more crap to load down your releases, blog postings and Tweets? No problem, just tap Bullshitr’s Web 2.0 Bullshit Generator for additional gobbledgook that can harness embedded mashups while remixing long-tail web effects into a synergistic innovation-based venturized collaborative.

The problem with these gag sites is that they’re way too close to the real thing to be funny for long. Once you compare the bombastic blather from these B.S. generators with your own organization’s output, all you can do is cry.

But wait, it’s possible to get past the jargon.

Steve Crescenzo, vanquisher of corporate crapThere are advocates of plain talk out there, trying to stem the tide of fetid language. The Steve Crescenzos of the world are training business communicators to avoid the dark side of The Force, and speak with words that have some meaning.

Now if we can get a Web 2.0 startup to monetize the dejargonization of business semantic tag clouds, we could revolutionize corporate motivation-triggers. We can call it RealSpace. Or Gabopia. Or Jabberpedia. Or Camindu! I can taste the venture capital funding already…

(Just ignore Steve, spinning in his grave, and him not even dead yet.)

Update:  Finally tracked down this piece by Steve, about executives who suffer from C.R.A.P.
