Blogging Tips - Following My own Advice

I was dispensing advice the other day. This is not unusual - I often dispense advice, whether it’s asked for, or not.
One of the recipients of my advice asked me if she could use my e-mail as a guest post on her blog.
So, my seven tips on how to blog more often has been transformed into:
7 Incredibly Intelligent Ideas for Blogging More Efficiently.
You can check them out on Liz Strauss’ Successful Blog.
Tip number 4 sounds like it was custom-built for this post: "When you write a guest post on another blog/site, create a short post linking to the post. Even if the item’s a bit off topic for your blog, this may be worth doing if you want people to get to know you a bit better."
Oh, and I’ve added an eighth tip:
8) When you find something in an e-mail, Tweet, IM, or other form of communications that is worth sharing with others, ask the person if you can use it as a guest post on your blog.
I could add something about writing extremely flattering titles for guest posts, but that will have to wait for my list of ways to win friends and influence people…

Hey Eric!
This was such fun! Thank you for being a sport! That’ wasn’t flattery — that blog post title was an accurate description. I learned early to always call thing what they are. It’s good marketing practice. :) :)
